Adult Earn A Bike

After one 2-hour class, you’ll ride away with a bicycle plus basic repair and maintenance skills to care for the bike yourself.”

Adult Earn A Bike is offered throughout the year to people currently in 8th grade or older (yup, all the way to adults). After only one focused 2-hour class, participants will ride away with their bike, a helmet, and basic skills to care for their bike daily.

Classes are capped at two (2) cyclists per class. Advance registration is highly recommended. CBPO cannot promise walk-in requests for Adult Earn A Bike as our ongoing programs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Classes are age-specific. Cyclists must attend their appropriate/assigned age level. CBPO makes all attempts to group same-age cyclists together.

Please show up on time and be prepared to stay for the entire class hour. If the participant is a minor (under 19 years old), an adult caretaker, parent, or guardian must remain on the premises.

CBPO reserves the right to determine a participant has not completed the course of study to complete the program.

LEGAL WAIVER + PHOTO CONSENT

By e-signing below, I am expressily assuming the risks and liability, and waiving and releasing all clams for injuries, damages, or losses for which I and/or my minor ward/child may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with the Community Bike Project of Omaha. I recognize and acknowledge the risks of physical injury resulting from the use and repair of bicycles. I voluntarily agree to assume the risk of any injuries, damages, or loss, regardless of the severity that my minor ward/child or I may sustain as a result of the activities connected with this program. I permit to the Community Bike Project of Omaha to photograph me and/or my minor ward/child for use in its publications, website, social media, and or other promotional sources and recognize I will not receive any financial compensation for this use. I understand that CBPO will not use my or my minor ward/child's likeness for financial gain other than the continued sustainability of the organization/company in and of itself as a nonprofit entity doing business in the state of Nebraska.
